Mid-size firms picking up China trade business

The Boston Globe ran this terrific article about mid-size law firms picking up business representing mid-size businesses with China trade and business. The article discusses the challenges of working in China, beyond the language and legal barriers. They discuss the efforts of Boston firms to get their staffs up to speed on cultural rules for success in China. Covers issues from how to properly exchange business cards, to dinner and drinking etiquette to properly selecting Mandarin Chinese translations of the firm name and even personal names. Very interesting article. An excellent opportunity for associates (and librarians!) with good language and culture skills to make themselves invaluable.
